Gripe? I've got a few

Dear TSN and conglomerates:
I am writing you--and by you I mean a stinging, corporate screen in an oversized office--as a disgruntled Habs fan. Yes, I said it. I am a fan of the Frenchie's and I have been since Roy first graced my screen, wobbling his head emphatically like a real-life bobble head. I am Female. I am not a bitter ex-Leaf fan, turned in shame. I just like a team that has heart, soul and the prettiest jersey's.
I look forward to turning on my TV at 7:30 p.m., and seeing my boys listed in action. But, far too often I am disappointed with you, TSN. I do not look forward to seeing Table Tennis Championships from the Greek Isles or UFC/Boxing/Etc, taking up the spot of my Habs. If I wanted to see the either, I could drive down to the local high-school and watch the wannabe tough boys pull off their latest UFC moves. I used to have a ping pong table, I sold it for a Billiards one.
It's not just you, TSN. No, It's CBC too! CBC-C, CBC-W, CBC-T, CBC-M (Montreal) all continue to carry solely Leaf games. You must understand my rile. I mean, the Leafs haven't tasted victory more than 3 times this year. Have you ever been to a Tykes house league game? You know that they let the clocks run because nobody wants to stand around while four year-olds take mini steps and fall down for three periods? Don't get me wrong, we all gotta start somewhere--and it's cute! But, when you're earning close to a million or more, that's not cute anymore. It is sucky. Very sucky.
Now, I know you guys only get certain games allotted, I get that this is a business and money is indefinitely involved. That is why I am only a viewer of sports. I don't care about the business end of things. As a Canadian sports station, is it necessary to run a Carolina vs. Nashville game when you could be airing one of the whopping five Canadian NHL teams? The bastardization of the organization and it's cash-flow greedy suits, that's a whole other argument. Hey- why not have a team for every state! Fabulous! Playoffs already run into June.
I know there are stipulations here I am not understanding. In fact, I don't understand myself. What the hell was I saying?
Anyways, the point is simple: Why not showcase a team that has the honour of holding 24 Stanley Cup wins, Countless big names, and looks really pretty in their uniforms (except for the hideous stripe-frenzied upchuck as part of its centennial celebration) instead?
Sincerely,
A Habite.
