Era's apart

My parents have been cleaning. I don't just mean floors waxed and windows trimmed. Like full on rummaging through piles of crap--our childhood crap--in the basement. My mom was excited to find some really old toys that she grew up with. I was really glad she's letting me keep her 45's.
The other night I had cramps, so i examined the linen closet to find the heating pad. To my horror I knock a bunch of shit over and these dolls come falling down on me. She puts her dolls in the linen closet next to my stuffed animals. Seriously, I hate dolls. They're creepy. These things are straight out of the '50's.


What I'm guessing is Lazy-eye Suzie, and her date One Leg Jack.
Jack has such a fine physique and i've been single too long, that I decided to add a close up for good measure:



It's quite tragic that he lost his leg, but he smiles anyways. And.. is that, a testicle? Wow! Miss Suzie has quite a night ahead of her!

Now, I'm note sure what the hell happened to this poor young thing, I'm assuming her hair was set fire to, or she'd been unfortunately scalped by a younger brother.

I can't understand if there was more to this outfit, or is this it? Because, I can't exactly imagine Mothers of the '50's allowing such distasteful dress. Clearly, she's loose.
